Riser-2 cut out with a vibrosaw - all mortar rubble removed, cleaned and mopped.
After work below finished, Riser-2 glued back in place.
Tread-2
Sub-tread support blocks -
RHS block drilled and screwed using sub-tread offcut as spacer,
sub-tread inserted at RHS and lifted and jacked into position,
and LHS block drilled and screwed.
All disassembled and reassembled with GorillaGlue and the jack pieces removed.
Tread-1
Re-attaching bottom of Riser-2 cut off to remove Riser-2
glued and screwed on using old nail holes with added screws at each end.
The back of Tread-1 was tongued into Riser-2 which gave it support
since the bottom of Riser-2 has been cut off, to give support I made two pillars and
cemented them in using Stephen'sBridger reinforced polyester paste and screwed them to the floorboards.
(it was very difficult working under the step through a mirror - not the neatest job),

LHS
